ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The Williams Microcar Collection is a privately owned collection that was started in 2017, after acquiring a Subaru 360 sedan that was found tucked under a carport. While small and unusual cars had always been of interest to curator Tyler Williams, this little Subaru began the spiraling obsession with microcars.

The goal of the collection is to create as comprehensive of an inventory as possible and restore as necessary, preserve, and enjoy the cars for years to come, while also spreading awareness of these fantastic pieces of automotive history that most of the Earth's population has never heard of. Originality is of the utmost importance, so a significant amount of time is spent researching all of the original aspects of each car, and any missing/incorrect parts are sourced and either installed or stowed away until restoration of the car in question.

Most of the cars in the collection are in running order, and regularly get driven (unlike most large collections). If you're lucky, you might find one buzzing through the small town of Mustang, Oklahoma. The collection also includes a growing array of period documentation and memorabilia, along with a large inventory of spare parts.

If you have any questions regarding the collection, or if you have information regarding a microcar for sale (anywhere in the world), please don't hesitate to make contact. Click below to be directed to the Contact page.
